Another Busy Day
So tonight is my husband's Military Ball. I won't be around today because I will be preparing for it. Thought of these when I saw the images. I love being a SAHM and wife! So I hope everyone has a great Wednesday.
When Elaine refused dinner and cried for her cupcake
for nearly an hour.
In the middle of the night when I stubbed my toe for
the fourth or fifth time on some toy.
This is a daily thought.
When kids are telling me nose toes and hands when I
"play with the phone," "go in my room," "when I pick
up the kittens," "open the refrigerator'" etc.
this is a monthly thought.
After being told "Mommmmmmmmmyyyyyyy
mmmmiiiiilllllllkkkkkk!" "mommom wipe my booty.
I poo pooed!" etc.

To all the great women in my life.
God doesn't give you the people you want, He gives you the people you NEED ...to help you, to hurt you, to leave you, to love you and to make you into the person you were meant to be.
Dear God: The lady reading this is beautiful and strong, and I love her. Help her live her life to the fullest. Please promote her and cause her to excel above her expectations. Help her shine in the darkest places where it is impossible to love. Protect her at all times, lift her up when she needs you the most, and let her know when she walks with you, She will always be safe.

My goofy Kids
Okay so today has been full of laundry. LOL I had a lot of catching up to do since we went out of town this weekend. However, the kids had fun with the blankets.
Unfortunately, I forgot my camera for the pictures of fun at my in laws. Let's see to start it off we ended up adding 2 hrs to our trip due to getting lost. Then Tj was sick. We finally got there around 11pm. I made Tommy sleep on the couch and I took the guest bedroom with both kids. Tj was still sick all night long. Magically though he was 100% better in the morning. laughing, playing, and everything. So we went fishing, road the mule (it's actually a type of atv). The kids played in the sand, and danced in the rain later in the day as we were all relaxing.
The next day we went to see the kids great grandparents, and they helped hammer nails. Then after Tommy got home from playing golf I finally got the break I was craving. My mother in law and I went and picked some delicious blackberries, groomed some horses, and I trimmed one's mane for her. We rode around in the mule and got to visit. It was a great visit, and we are going back soon. For the moment though I am glad to be back in the comforts of my own home. Well I hope you had a great weekend! I am going to go read some more of my book.

School and Moving
TJ is absolutely obsessed with going to school. This morning he dresses himself, grabs his Lightening McQueen Mini Backpack, eats his waffles and...
Tj: Mom-mom it's time to go! NOW!
Me: What? Where?
TJ: To school you hear me mom-mom.
Me: Yes dear I hear you but you can't go to school until after we move to Colorado.
TJ: Oh..... (You can see he is now in deep thought)
I get up and go wash the dishes. He comes in about 10 minutes after our previous conversation. He is carrying a big box.
Me: TJ? What are you doing?
He says nothing and climbs inside of the box and lays down and closes the flaps.
Me: TJ?
Tj: What mom-mom?
Me:what are you doing?
TJ: I am moving to Colorado.
I just busted up. We are not moving until July.
The end of my day yesterday
Okay so we did leftovers last night which is never a bad thing at my house. My husband loves leftovers. So the kids had mac and cheese, hot dogs, fruit cocktail, and green beans. While my hubby and I had the photo below (which is what we had for dinner the night before):
After dinner we did the normal routine of bath time and pj's and off to bed. Elaine though was an emotional wreck. Gotta love girls. LOL So we pulled her into our room to go to sleep with daddy while I went across the street to play cards with my friend. The night was cut short by Elaine though, and I ended up locking myself and her in her room to get her to sleep. Two hours after I finally got her to sleep (3:30am) my son started crying for me. So I snuck out and went to tend to him. I got him to sleep and switch the clothes in wash to the dryer, and passed out on the couch. 4am- Tj comes looking for me and snuggles next to me on the couch. I toss and turn until my hubby leaves for pt, and finally just give up. So at 5 something I start on the house. who knows maybe just maybe my kids will take naps today. hahaha Yeah I know (yeah right). If they do take naps today they are only getting an hour. They need to start sleeping through the nights again.

Is it time for bed yet?
I am wiped. Elaine has been sick for a few nights now and before that it was TJ. I just want a good nights sleep. LOL But isn't that what all mom's want. Instead of taking a nap my son decided to lay in bed and play so I of course couldn't take one. Instead I mowed and weeded my flower bed. Not rest I know. LOL So my husband and I talked and we are simply having leftovers tonight. We are both hoping the kiddos will want to go to bed at 7pm, but thats not likely.
Terrible Twos!!!
Okay so my daughter is driving me bonkers! I love her and bless her soul she is sick, but she is a mini tornado! Here let me set the scene for you. My daughter used to have a nicely decorated room, now it is a twin mattress and box spring on the floor. Her dresser is blocking her closet, but the dresser is empty because she will constantly rip the clothes out of it and throw them on the floor. The blinds have to remain open constantly because she is destroying them. I had to take her rug out because she has learned how to undress herself and will use the bathroom on the floor she prefers the floor to the potty. LOL . I had to put duck tape over her light switch because she can play with it for a good hour straight. My glider and ottaman had to be removed because she was using it to punch holes in the wall. We had to remove the spring like door stop and have it replace with a metal plate on the wall. She would eat the cap off the spring doorstop and also she punched a hole in her wall with her door. I used to have decals on her wall but she has learned how to climb her dresser (which may be the next thing to go) and ripped them and the framed photos off her walls. I used to have some floral arrangements in there yeah they were demolished I guess she thought they were good chew toys. I could continue but I am sure you get the point. I just want to scream! She really is a good kid just lately she hates her room. She doesn't want naps, nor does she want to sleep through the night. We have tried time out, taking things away, and spanking ... nothing works. I really need her to take a nap today though so keep your fingers crossed for me.

So Bored
Tommy went and played golf this morning and I stayed with the kids. They were pretty good, but both have upper respiratory infections. I decided to let them outside to get some sun anyways. I figure a little vitamin D will do them some good. Afterwards I let them help me make some brownies. I love brownies! :) Once Tommy got home we all went to the neighborhood park, which is 90% of the time empty. Then it was off for picking flowers, singing cadences, and a nature walk. We came home and everyone went down for naps. Yet, here I am typing on my blog and watch some show on lifetime. Speaking of lifetime.....ARMY WIVES!!!! June 7th season 3 starts! I can't wait! Yes, I am an addict!
Well Its about time to start dinner. Going to cook some good 'ole comfort food
tonight...Fried Chicken, au Gratin Potatoes and Greens. Man, I am hungry already!
